Q: Why should I book a professional make-up artist?
A: A professional make-up artist is very important, especially on your wedding day.
Many women don't understand how to apply make-up for photographs, and after all
the time and money spent on pulling your day together it's natural to want every
aspect of your special occasion to be perfect.
Q: why should i book for a trial?
A: Trial is the perfect opportunity to meet your makeup artist and discuss the
look you desire before your event. Having a trial prior to your event will ensure
your makeup will be exactly the way you desire.Having a trial will also help with
timing on the day of your event, as the consultation has already been covered.
Q: When should I book an appointment for my wedding?
A: It is ideal to book in at least 6-12 months in advance to avoid any disappointment.
Q: What should I bring to my hair and make-up trial?
A: Collect a few magazine pictures of makeup and hair styles you like, keeping in
mind your coloring and features. Think about what you like and don't like
about the makeup and hair up in your reference picture.
.Q: How should I prepare my skin for my consultation?
A: Please come to your consultation with clean, lightly exfoliated and moisturized skin.
If you wax, it is a good idea to do this a few days prior.
Q: What make up products and brands do you use?
A: I have no favorite make up brands only high quality, well recognized
products,I use MAC, Makeup foundation, Make up for ever, Chi Chi, Kryolan,
Christian Dior, Revlon and Estee Lauder to name a few.
Q: how long does make-up application take?
A: Please allow at least 30 minutes for your make-up application.
Q: how long does hair up take?
A: Please allow at least 40 minutes for hair up.
Q: Are lashes extra?
A: Yes. Each item is separate.
Q: Once my make-up is done, how will I touch up later?
A: I usually ask you to bring your own lipsticks and lip glosses.Use it later on for
touching up...that way there is no extra expense to you!
Q: How much experience have you had?
A: I have over 3 years experience working within the hair and beauty industry.
Q: Can you accommodate large bridal parties (i.e. 6 bridesmaids, flower girl,
and mother of the bride) in addition to the bride?
A: Yes, I can. I will need to hire an additional hairstylist (I have two
that I work with frequently) There is an additional
fee, because I will need to pull them out of the salon for most of the day and
pay for their travel in their own vehicle.
Q: Do you travel to my location or do I have to come to you?
A: I will come to you if it’s a hair and makeup service and more than 3 people. for
other services I am happy to accommodate you in my home based salon.
Q: Is there a Travel Fee?
A: Yes, there is an additional fee. I only work in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: cash only. Eftpos facilities will be available soon.
